Imaginary Wedding
I'm not sure where to put this. It's kind of a rant, but not an angry one and I would love some advice of course. So since year one of dating, my SO and I knew that we were going to get married eventually. In a few months, we will reach year five ❤ Anyway, he really wanted to wait until he was able to get a degree to get married (he joined the navy instead of going to college after HS). I told him I really didn't want to wait another 4-5 years. I would marry him tomorrow, if I could lol He said okay, but he said he has to have enough money to buy a ring and a dress for me first. We live paycheck to paycheck, so it will take awhile to save up that money. I don't want an expensive ring, but he does. My favorites are the uncut diamonds 🙂 So my hopes of getting married in the summer of 2017 kind of got dashed. I know I want to get married on my parents farm, and it's going to be a rather hippie wedding. I don't really know what to do to sped up the process though. I would like to start planning it even though we don't have money for the rings. What would I need to do first? I've looked at wedding planners, but a lot of it is about the venue and the catering and the flowers. I'm a florist, so I know I'm going to do most of the decorating (I'll let my coworkers help because I know they are DYING to decorate and create flowers for my wedding lol) My boss caters events, so I'm not worried about that either, but I may not even do abunch of catering because I want it to be a small wedding.
I'm just so excited to get married that I want to start preparing for it waaaaayyy ahead of time lol
