IUD's????

IUD's, good? Bad? Best type? HELP ME LADIES!!!! I have done the pill and I've done the shot.

I've had the copper IUD. It was nice not to have to buy BC pills and it is a non hormonal option if you care about that, but it made my period cramps worse. I cramped more in general too. I think I prefer the BC pill personally. I've heard the Mirena is more comfortable, though I've never had it. It's hormonal and lightens your periods.

I had the IUD once and it wasn't what I expected. My boyfriend said that he could feel it and then a week or so later it fell out and into the toilet. My favorite method was the pill, the only annoyance is that you have to remember to take it
