when does your cycle return?

Just found out that I miscarried an my doctor told me to wait two cycles to let my uterus have time to get healthy again. I'm wondering if other women waited to try again after early miscarriages? An when did you ovulate again or did your cycle return to normal?

We decided to wait two or three months after our miscarriage on Sept 20th so we started using the pull out method but it turns out I got pregnant a month later. According to this pregnancy my cycle went back to exactly how it was before.

I had mine the next month and we didn't wait, I woke up from the d&c crying that I didn't want to wait. I had had a missed mc with two weeks of extreme cramps and bleeding? A possible oblete ovum, a partially deflated sac and hemorrhage after the d&c needing a shot, all from about April to may.
