awaiting baby! update
Had my 38 week appointment this morning (I'm 38+2) and my doctor suggested induction and sent me to the hospital. My blood pressure has been elevated and during a measurement scan today they noticed some blood around my placenta. Baby is measuring at approx. 7 lb 7 oz. I'm currently at the hospital waiting to receive cervidil to soften my cervix and will get pitocin in the morning. Please send prayers! 
Update: after 18 hours of pitocin and my water breaking on its own, with no other progress and still only at 1.5cm...we decided to have a c section to avoid risk of infection. Our boy was born at 11:26 pm on Jan 14, 2017, weighing 7 lb 11oz and 20 inches long.
