Daughter refuses to sleep
I don't want to say I'm angry but it's almost getting there. I'm stressed is better. My daughter is 2 months and refuses to sleep anywhere unless it's with me or in her swing. My mom keeps telling me I have to transition her to a crib because she's getting to old for her swing. I disagree, and still put my daughter in her swing. My mom also tells me I can't co sleep. She tells me "think about your dead baby and you won't want to co sleep" but, once she grows out of her swing, that may be my only option. My daughter has severe reflux, she takes medications but most of the time they don't help at all. She cries all day all the time, she only takes naps on a good day, leaving her more tired and more prone to screaming all day. It stresses me out, I can't eat, go to the restroom, shower, or go online and do my college classes. I end up drinking coffee when she's asleep and try jamming all my tasks and coursework into about an 1 and 40 minutes. My sleep schedule is messed up and I'm just crazy stressed. My daughter absolutely hates her crib. This morning, I set her in it so I could use the bathroom. And she has been crying for an hour and a half straight. She stopped once it was time for her to eat, I fed her, put her in the swing and shes fallen asleep. I don't know what to do. She just wants to be held constantly all the time and moving. If I hold her I have to be moving, If i put her in her swing it has to be going a certain direction and speed. does anyone have advice on the crib transition? Anytime I put her in there she is mad at me the rest of the day and screams bloody murder untill feeding time or untill I put her in the swing.
