Realising he's a keeper...

I see a lot of posts on this app about women/girls being "so in love" with their boyfriends because they have bought them nice gifts etc. Don't get me wrong, it's wonderful that they have thought of you in such a nice way; but I don't see love being built on a foundation of gift buying and pretty little surprises. Love is being able to reach the depths of hell together and to come out the other end fighting together. If you can find a guy that can stick with you through all the shit life throws at us all, a guy that will love you for you no matter what, a guy who sees you as his only woman, a guy that can help you up at your lowest and hold you high when you need it, a guy that is there when you call, a guy that doesn't judge you and thinks you are beautiful no matter how big or small you get, then he is a keeper. Gifts from your man are nice and it's really sweet ☺️, but it doesn't determine whether he is a good man or not. Just saying ✌️
