Mr claims I care more for the pooch than him.

Dorothy

So last night my 4.5 year old yorkie decided to bite my boyfriend. It was bad enough that we had to run to the emergency room for a tetanus booster and antibiotics. Well today when Mr comes home for lunch he starts asking me if I was more concerned about the dog's welfare than his. This of course was after conversing with his nosy coworkers (who already don't like me). In short, it started a huge fight. Of course I was concerned more about my boyfriend's injury than anything at the moment. However, he did have the situation under control and have direct pressure on the wound to stop the bleeding. I was also worried that medics would be screaming to call animal control to put down my dog. It was just a rough night for me, either way.

So during this argument, Mr starts saying crap like I don't love him because he's not my family... Whereas the dog is. Quick story. Over a year ago I left my home, family and life in Arkansas to move to Oklahoma so I could be closer to this man. I love him so much that I started my life over for him. He is my family... At least I thought he was.

For now the only thing I can think of is to give us both our space. Help.
