Unmedicated 2nd Child Birth Story
Woke up at 2:30 with a mild period cramp that I considered whether or not it was digestive cramping. Sat on the toilet until 2:57 still mildly questioning the occasional pain. Confirmed by 3:06 that it was happening every 4-5 minutes so I told Brad we had to go. Arrived at the hospital at 3:30, labored and delivered standing up/squating in the same place for 2 hours. The pushing phase was unclear, they just left me to do what felt right so I had a combo of breathing and pushing...I only knew I was there because the nurse mentioned Brad moving if he wanted to cut the cord. My water broke at 5:06 and that's probably when the pushing started to become more prevelant. Had a small first degree tear where my episiotomy from my first born was...we're both doing great! I'm loving me some Ice diapers.
Jacob Wayne born at 5:33 7lb 10oz. I was 39+4 based on LMP and Ovulation...ultrasound due date was earlier so the doctors considered me 40+2
