Baby's First Museum Visit?

How old should baby be for fist museum visit?   My lil one is just over 10 weeks and most outings he spends asleep. There are three nearby museums that are free on Thursdays. I wonder if he'd enjoy a museum visit durring the day hours when he's most playful or if we should wait a month or so?

6+ months. A newborn isn't going to get anything out of such an outing. Go for yourself though.

It could definitely be beneficial to get him out of the house, to do it for yourself, and you can even carry him around and look at the pieces of artwork and just describe what you see to him. Babies love that and it helps with language development.
