Do you have to allow the hospital to stop labor?

If you are past 36-37 weeks do you have to allow the hospital to give you the shots to slow or stop your labor? My hospital has stopped women's labor at 37+5 weeks which I found kinda silly. So my question is do you have to allow them to stop your labor?

I guess it depends on some factors like baby's growth and wether you are high risk or something but usually it's not up to the hospital staff but your doctor to stop the labor...so if it's a concern of yours I'd speak to your OB about what she would recommend if it were to happen.

I was told by my doctor when I hit 37 that they would NOT stop labor lol my doctor says she also will not allow me to go past 41. So I have about a week left before I will get an induction date  🤗 hopefully not but it's exciting to thinking about

Idk why they would stop it if someone is almost 38 weeks... let the baby out if it's ready!
