Are apples bad for dogs?

Gave my 7th month puppy some apple.  I think its not bad cause fruits are healthy. I was eating my apple when I was done she came to eat the left overs that was left in my hand. My brothers will be angry at me if she gets sick.

Apples are good for them actually. I use apples regularly in homemade dog food. Avoid grapes, apracots, garlic, onion, salt, and of course chocolate.  Please humor me on this.  I know I'm just words to you,  but I've seen countless pets come in from consuming toxic foods.

Try these:
Apples
Sweet potatos
Peanut butter (limit this to treats)
asparagus
Green beens
Yogurt 
Oatmeal (avoid rice and white potatos)
Eggs (even shells, just grind them up)

These can be added to homemade food, made into treats with meat.  I recommend salmon or chicken. I use beef add well,  just not ground.  Too fatty. Hope this helps and then some.

Apples aren't bad, but don't assume that fruits won't hurt them cause they're healthy for humans. Grapes are harmful to them. Just search it up before giving them random food

I wouldn't start giving a dog food from the table at all. If they get it they will start to beg and becomes a huge pain. I learned my lesson from my dog now. My next dog will get ZERO people food.

Apples ate actually good for dogs. Grapes are bad for dogs. Google dangerous foods for dogs,  there are lots of things you shouldn't give them that seem healthy.

I read in a dog magazine that apples are safe just not the seeds, and the core is a choking hazard. A few seeds won't hurt the dog but an abundance will.
