Braxton Hicks Contractions

When do you start feeling them false contractions, currently 23+4 and it feels like something pushing down , it last for like 2 minutes.. Or can it be something else like the lower part of my stomach be hurting when I be walking or laying on my side... My stomach is sitting low could that be because I'm having a girl? With my first 2 boys it was high and didn't drop until like 30 weeks
