how does everyone cut their L/O's nails??

Question

Usually I wait til they peel a little from the side then peel them otherwise I just leave them. 
Can I cut her nails with baby nail clippers now or should I just file them or peel them?

I've always used clippers and I do it while he's sleeping or when he's breastfeeding.

I've clipped since she was born with baby clippers, when she's sleeping. I have filed too because that makes them not as stabby lol Came with our baby clippers.

I just clip them very carefully with baby nail clippers while he's awake. Sometimes when he's extra squirmy I distract him with something.

When she was itty bitty I used a nail file, she's almost 4 months now so I clip them first, then lightly file them if she'll let me.. I get so nervous getting too close to her skin, the file helps with that!

I will sit my son on the edge of the couch (feet dangle he loves it yes I am right behind him holding him making sure he doesn't fall when he lunged forward) and use baby nail clippers and clip them and what I can't clip all the way from him getting fussy I just file down

My son is so zen during bath time, so they get clipped and I nibble any remaining sharp parts.

The FridaBaby nail clippers and file are a godsend. They have a little window so you can see what you're doing. I've never ever cut my baby's skin when using them. I used the ones in the little grooming kits and cut his toe once. Threw them out and have been using the FridaBaby ones ever since.
