lip tie?

Does this look like a lip tie? He nurses well, is gaining well, wakes about very 2-4 hour to eat, but is always gassy.

Yes, definite lip tie. This is what my daughters looked like before it was revised. She also had a posterior tongue. There should be a lip/ tongue tie Facebook support group for your area and they will have a list of preferred providers if you choose to get it revised. You want to make sure you use a preferred provider so the revision is complete and you don't have to do it twice.

It definitely helped my daughter but it was only a piece of the puzzle. She needed Chiropractic as well as craniosacral therapy for us to start seeing results.

My son has the same thing.  The doctor and lactation told me has long as he is gaining weight and eating good not to worry about it. Babies usually face plant at some point and usually fixes that problem without traumatizing them! My son is pretty gassy as well I started giving him probiotics and it's helped so much!!!
