help..? did my IUD slip?

So this topic is a little gross and the pictures are a little gross but I'm having an issue and I'm not sure how to fix it. So, this morning I woke up with severe abdominal pain (upper, mid) and I feel like my IUD could have potentially slipped. I've had it for about a month. Over the last couple days I've noticed very light brown/ yellow (?) discharge. I tried feeling for the strings this morning but I couldn't feel anything (wasn't really sure what to look for, but I didn't feel the IUD or the strings.) and when I took my finger out it was like regular discharge (milky, sticky and white) I'm on day 20 of my cycle, so I might just be ovulating but it's freaking me out! Hah. Should I still have sex or should I get myself checked? There's a little bit of a weird odor too.
