My 1 month 18 day old daughter has been constipated for about 3 weeks now. I was told to give her a little bit of prune with her milk. She is exclusively breast fed, either bottle or boob, but always breast milk. So the first time I tried it I gave her 1 Oz of prune juice and an Oz of milk together 2 times in one day as it seemed like it was not working but at 10pm that night it all came out. She went on her own 2 days later. I thought she was fine. Her doctor said that she would not poop everyday because there would be times when there is no waste because she is breastfed. Now it seems that I need to keep giving her the prune juice in order for her to poop regularly. My question is how often should she be drinking the prune juice?
