How long did you take a Pills to get pregnant?

Hi, 
I found out that I have PCOS in my Left Ovary and the doctor said I need to take a pills so, my hormones will be back to normal and my period as well. 
My OB said the reason my can't be pregnant because of PCOS.. 
I need an advice for those who have PCOS like mine. How long did you take it before you get pregnant.

Ive had PCOS since I was 16 years old im now 31 and im overweight so I too got told it be so hard if not impossible to conceive naturally unless I lost some weight (which no matter what I try it doesn't help) so bout 6 years ago now I decided to come off the pill so we could try for a baby but we weren't going to put any pressure on us so we just continued to have sex normally like we did before, 2 years and nothing I got very disheartened and kinda told myself it just wouldn't happen 😟 even though we tried our best to keep positive, then I got the shock of my life when doing my normal Oh lets see if im pregnant even though im not test and I was 2-3 weeks pregnant as it was a digital one 😨 shell shocked but we couldn't be happier and now my beautiful little girl Summer is 3 yrs and 8 months old and gives us so much joy 😄 we couldn't be without her, we have been trying again for maybe baby no2 since she was 2yrs old but no joy yet. So please dont let anybody tell u it wont happen or it cant happen, try your best to stay positive and maybe your miracle might happen as my Lil girl is definitely mine. xxx

Hi hope this helps you! I was on bc for 10 years. Came off Feb 2015 to start getting my cycles back in order to TTC. I learned then that I had PCOS. Tried clomid it didn't work. Went through a couple of ob's that were not helpful. In Sept I went to a specialist who checked my tubes the first month I was with her (all clear). Then my next cycle she started me on Letrozole which I've heard is more successful for those with PCOS. She monitored my eggs, saw they weren't quite there yet, bumped up my dosage within that same cycle, and it worked! Once my eggs were large enough they gave me a trigger shot and I had my first IUI. Two weeks later I found out I was pregnant! It can happen you just need the right doc 🙏🏼

Ive had pcos with insulin resistance for about 10 years. They started me on metformin. I didnt try to get pregnant until 2015 and we tried for 5 months with no results, so my ob put me on clomid and bam we got pregnant in 1 month! My baby girl just turned a year on the 16th and this morning i got a positive pregnancy test after trying with clomid for 2 months!

I have PCOS and We thought it would never happen for us. We stopped using all birth control for about 10 months and were actively trying. I think we both just gave up. I got on bc to regulate me but stopped after 2 months because it was making me sick.  A month later surprise found out I was pregnant. Had a beautiful baby girl back in September. Have fun with it. Don't put too much pressure on yourself. It will become too stressful for you and your significant other. It's different for everyone. When it happens (because it will) it's the most incredible feeling and all of the heartbreak and stress you feel now will all melt away! Keep your head up!

We went through 4 rounds of clomid, which did nothing, and then the second round of femara/trigger worked. I miscarried, and had to wait 3 months, but the next round (3rd femara round) worked! 6w4d with our rainbow! I suggest going to a reproductive endocrinologist instead of an OBGYN. Very few OBs specialize in infertility treatments, and you could be wasting time that you could have been on a more effective treatment plan.

PCOS never goes away, but it doesn't necessarily mean you can't get pregnant!

Hello, I have PCOS I was TTC in April 2015 so I stopped taking my birth control and that's when I found out it was going to be hard for me to get pregnant. As of today I am not pregnant but I will be taking a test to check if my tubes are clogged in March. My doctor thinks this will help me. Currently still TTC and I haven't lost hope :)

I am borderline diabetic so I'm taking medicine for it and pills to control my prolactin horomone.

People with PCOS is hard to get pregnant but not impossible! 
I have PCOS and was diagnosed in 2001 
I never got pregnant 
Proper started trying in 2003 and nothing 
Then I had 4 cycles of ivf 
Then went to the best clinic in U.K. In Feb 2015 and had my first baby boy in Nov 15 
My problem was also elevated NK cells and Cytokines Assay which enabled me to get pregnant. But with the right meds I was able to get pregnant! This is why that clinic is the best coz they identified this when other clinics couldn't

I found out 10 years ago I have PCOS. My husband and I have been TTC for just over a year. We have gone through a complete lifestyle change since we started. We work out regularly and eat fresh healthy foods. I have been on clomid for 3 months with no success. I have two more months of it before we more to hormone injections. My advice is do anything you can think of to remain calm and relaxed. Meditate, do yoga, paint, something that can help you release stress. Good luck
