My son has a nebulizer with medicen albuteral i was wondering if it would do any harm to my baby by me using it while pregnant? I fiel very conjested

Dont take albuterol for congestion, there is a risk taking albuterol and if you don't need it you don't want to take that risk, i cringe everytime i need a breathing treatment, but without it i could die, if you think you are having asthma you need to see your doctor, but with congestion a hot shower will open your passage ways and make you feel better, then you can talk to your doctor about a medication you can take

Definitely do not take it without a Dr's permission.  Not only is it not prescribed to you, but albuterol has been proven harmful in pregnancy from animal studies.  Unless you're am athsmatic who literally can't breathe from a reaction it's usually not OKed during pregnancy.

The congestion you feel is very different from someone with asthma. Their "congestion" they feel can actually hurt them without their inhaler. If you don't have asthma why would you ever take a medicine away from your child that needs it? I get you don't feel good but that comes with the territory of being pregnant. Try other methods before resorting to a medicine you don't need and that won't even do anything for you. Try taking sudafed or a nasal saline spray.

You don't take someone else's prescription medication for mild congestion. Try a Neti Pot with some saline.
