Nephew with RSV

I need other mommies opinions. My brother in law's baby was diagnosed with RSV turning to bronchitis last Sunday. We have a family event on this coming Sunday I know they won't miss even with a recovering baby. But I'm feeling a little uneasy about bringing my 3 month old baby around a sick baby who can't really cover his cough and will probably be drooling all over. Would he still be contagious at that time or would it be fine to bring my baby around him??
