Here's my BFP to-do list... hope it helps you too!

Jamie

Got our BFP on 13DPO! My last test before this was negative at 8DPO. Not sure what did the trick, but give it all a try! Everything listed was a first for this month, our 6th cycle.

-Acupuncture (I'm giving major credit here 👍)

-PreSeed

-Sex every other day when AF ends

-Temping (really just kept me hopeful the last few days since you can't tell you ovulated until a few days after on the first cycle)

-Switched from coffee to chai tea (acupuncturist recommend because of oil in coffee bean, not just caffeine)

-Red Raspberry Leaf tea nightly for two weeks starting CD1 (to help with short luteal phase)

-Dong Quai tablets (to help with mid-cycle bleeding)

(WARNING: the RRL tea and tablets may have been the cause of my extra long cycle, but I still ovulated... obviously... just later.)

My only obvious symptom was mild cramping and twinges nearly all day every day, unusual for me since I get AF cramps after she starts, but I chalked it up to my extra long cycle. I also have slightly sore boobs, but mine are usually horribly painful before AF - like, hold them while taking the stairs painful - so that is nothing new.

Sending March luck to all you ladies ☘☘☘

Update: It's worth pointing out that I also made some changes 6 months ago when we started TTC.

-Chiropractic adjustments

-Cut back caffeine, from a few cups of coffee to one to one half-caff

-Cut back drinking and took out hard liquor altogether (just occasional wine and beer)

-Switched to and increased my intake of organic, whole fat dairy

-Switched to grass fed beef and natural chicken (whenever possible, mostly at home, because we still eat out)

-Upped my vitamins to pre-natal levels
