Is miscarriage really as common as it seems to be?

Is it just me or does everyone agree that this app gives an impression that miscarriage is reeeaally common? I mean there are people posting about it "every single day." It kind of freaks people out while in reality, chances might not be that high.

It is common. I've had 2 out of my 5 pregnancies. But also know people post about to express grief. Not as many people are going to post about everything going well. Know what I mean?

Yes, they are very common. Studies reveal that anywhere from 10-25% of all clinically recognized pregnancies will end in miscarriage.

You're incredibly wrong. It's VERY common...just as common as it seems on here. I'd venture to say half, if not two thirds of women in my life have had a miscarriage or more than one. I've had two.

It is very common. I thought to myself "I'm at my ripe child bearing years, so there's no way I could miscarry." Well I did at 6 weeks. It's common for women to have at least one in their life time. Not because anything is wrong with the mother, it's because there was an imbalance in the chromosomes and the baby sensed something and "flushed" itself out.

It's incredibly common. 1 in 4.... just never thought I'd be one of them. I know of 2 other people that have had one since mine (early Feb). And that's just the people that talk about it.

I'm on my 3rd pregnancy, previously both miscarriages...
1 in 4/5 pregnancies end in miscarriage but this doesn't include all miscarriages either 😔
As in some people don't realise that they've miscarried 😢

Way more common than you would expect. A lot of times we miscarry and don't even know. The more we talk about it, the less taboo it will be. I had three of them in one year and was NOT prepared. Nobody talked about it.... till I had one myself. Then everyone I knew came out of the woodwork telling me their own stories. Just know it's super common and a lot of times unavoidable.
