question about breast feeding!
My sister has been feeding her 2 month old 7oz of breast milk for each feeding. Every 3-4 hours. Is that normal?! He is CONSTANTLY spitting up! About 2oz! She's always having to change his clothes... but she refuses to feed him less. The pediatrician told her to break those ounces up but she doesn't want to. She basically isn't listening to anyone but I'm worried it's hurting his tummy.
And I get it, she's the mom. I have a 3 month old so I get it... my baby has 5oz every 3 hours but 7oz seems like a lot, especially since he keeps spitting up.. and she keeps like questioning "why does he spit up too much?" And everyone has told her because she's feeding him way too much... but she won't do anything about it.
