What would you do?

I'm curious what some of you would do in this situation. I have had a boys name I've loved and planned to use since even before I met my husband. It so happens to be his grandfather's name. Which sounds perfect EXCEPT the minute we told his parents we were expecting his mother immediately demanded we name the child after her father if it's a boy. Now I'm torn because I feel like if we use the name I love it is like she named our child. She already has some issues with boundaries so this really bothers me. Would you pick a different name just as a reminder about whose child this is? Or use the name you love even though your MIL will think you did it because she told you to?

Keep the name but tell everyone why you chose it and if they say they thought it was because of her laugh and say no it wasn't x

I would say use it let her think what she wants and just tell everyone when you announce it that you've loved this name for a while and somehow by mishap it happened to fit perfectly in the family. Even if you tell her you chose it first she's still going to try to claim that she told you about it and that's why you picked it. Just let her do whatever she wants and say whatever she wants she will anyways.

I would tell her "it's so funny you like that name for the baby. I've wanted to name my first born son that for years now! I'm glad you approve."  Let her know it was your idea first and you're not just doing it because she said so, and then name your son the name you love. It's traditional in many cultures to give the first born son the grandfathers name anyways.

Tell her you have a name picked out that you've loved since before you got together with her son and then don't tell her what it is until the baby is here? 
Then it's clear that YOU picked it and it just happens to fit with his family...
