progesterone

So I started progesterone suppository this cycle.  My luteal phase was 8-11 days and I was worried I might be losing my fertilized egg before implantation.  The progesterone delays the period, stretching the luteal phase and cycle length.  My doctor said to take a pregnancy test 14 days after positive ovulation.  Well that's tomorrow and I'm so nervous and scared. I have been trying for 8 months since my miscarriage to get preggers again. I am 37 and TTC #1. Has anyone been through this?
