I just had my baby a week ago and we are having a really hard time putting him in his bassinet. He only wants to sleep on our chest and it's exhausting! How can we get him to sleep on his own ??

Swaddle sacks and the rock n play saved us. We transitioned to the crib at 3 weeks.

With a newborn get sleep however you can!!! He's way to young to develop any bad sleeping habits

Gradually... it will come with time. Your baby just spent 9 months on the warm, constricted space of your womb, all curled up. It was constant noise listening to your heartbeat and digestive system. We can't expect newborns to just instantly take to lying alone, stretched out on their backs in a quiet space! With patience and time they all get there...
