I need fb help!

I posted a new profile photo and it's not getting many likes so I want to change it to my old one. Will the likes still appear on it - if I make it the old one again?? I have a thing about likes I know but I can't help it. I want to look popular. Last one has got 44 and this one has gotten 3 in 11 minutes....
