Recently I've felt like I'm living in a history book in the 'factors leading to' section and it scares me so much. With all the conflict in Syria etc it's hard for me to stay optimistic on such topics

I'm usually not too worried because I have historically had a lot of faith in our POTUS even if I didn't vote for them.

Trump is a wild card though and I don't trust or respect him. He is an egomaniac, pompous, enjoys drama, unpredictable and is reactionary in strange ways. He is more like watching a reality show reunion than a government official. That is a bigger issue for me.

Honestly we are already in it. War won't be fought the way our grandfathers fought it.  It will be terrorism, it will be hacking, it will be controlling elections and influencing power.

We are already in a war that is the new age of war.  We lived through 9/11. That was our Pearl Harbor.  War isn't the same as it used to be but it's just as (if not more) dangerous.

I would say yes however...for years now there have been rumours of ww3, even when I was a child and when my mother was a child. It could pass over like it did then.
I just try not to worry about it and hope for the best.
