Having just spent six days in the hospital in a country with universal healthcare and left without paying a penny, I'm very for it. It was also great during childbirth. After giving birth we got three days in a postpartum "hotel" with 24h midwife staff who could answer our questions and help with breastfeeding. Again, no extra charge.

Going to the doctor for other things costs between 20-35 dollars depending on if it's a specialist or not, and it's capped per year so if you have a lot of health problems you start getting free/discounted appointments and medicine

Definitely for. I don't have health insurance because I can't afford but I make too much for Medicaid. It's definitely rough having to pay $50-150 at urgent care every time I'm sick. Especially when I'm last minute sick and need a doctor's note for work. Childbirth was $16,000.

Yes, healthcare is very important a lot of people do not go because they can't afford it. I myself have a lot of health problems spend a lot out of pocket for healthcare and insurance coverage costs is INSANE.

I'm hesitantly for it but I know what we sacrifice to achieve it and I don't love that.

We have public healthcare and private healthcare. I think the hybrid system is better (here at least) as it shortens down waiting lists, and everyone is able to receive the treatment they need.

For it. People die of treatable diseases every day and that's unacceptable. 
However, I'd like to still be able to choose my doctor, my treatment (to an extent) and not have to wait ages for something like a surgery.

Here's the problem I have with it(in America at least). I still don't think it will be very helpful for the poor, and it might screw over the middle class who has their own insurance right now.
He rich will still be able to afford expensive private insurances.
But the doctors who accept the universal healthcare will be overworked and underpaid. It will probably take several weeks of not more to get an appointment. And you will most likely have to travel quite far(especially those living in more rural areas) to find somebody who takes that insurance.
The middle class who could previously afford healthcare will then not be able to afford the more expensive premiums so they will have to use the free universal healthcare, causing it to be more crowded and further these problems I listed above. ER's will become more improperly used due to their "convenience" and wait times could easily exceed 3-4 hours, causing SERIOUS issues for staff and patients who actually need emergency services.
