Repeat C-section or vaginal? opinions please!

I had an emergency c-section 15 months ago. I am now due in October with my second child and I have the choice between a repeat c-section or a vaginal birth. I had a great experience with my cesarean, but I feel like I will always miss the chance to have a vaginal birth. Honestly, I'm more terrified of vaginal currently. I am so afraid to tear! Please give me some experience and advice, thanks!!😁

Vaginal, honestly even if you tear it will heal up faster and easier than a csection. Also, look into birthing positions that help reduce the risk of tearing (laying on your back is not one of them!)

Honestly u should try for natural c section should be last resort I have a five month old and I'm 19 weeks pregnant now and my son was a emergency c section so because I got pregnant a month after having him they didn't give me a choice at all their like scheduled c section

I would personally go with vaginal just because a c section is major surgery and there's always 
more risk with that. I'm actually terrified to get a c section. Lol. But do whatever you feel is best for you! You already know what to expect with a c section since you've already been through it, so you might feel more comfortable doing a repeat c section. I have had a C-section and vaginal births. My 1st was a C-section and then I had two vaginal births. I plan to have another vaginal birth. My recovery for my C-section was awful, so in my experience vaginal has been much better. 😊

15 months seems too soon to have a vbac? i had a vbac 3 months ago but my previous pregnancy  (c-section) was 11 years ago.. aside from that,  i definitely would recommend you to try a vbac! most beautiful experience ever.. at least for me bc i had so many complications with my c-section. The healing after vbac was so easy, nothing compared to a c-section.. i did have a 3rd degree tear, but the pain was bearable unlike my cesarean. Hope this helps, good luck!

I had a c section with my twins because they both were breech. This time I'm opting for a vbac since I will only have my fiance home for 2 weeks at the most. After my c section I was told I couldn't lift anything over 15? Pounds I think it was, and my 16 month old twins are 31 and 32 pounds. So recovery wise, it's going to be most beneficial for our family to pray for a successful vbac! 😊
