When is long enough?

Katie
In January 2016 my husband and I started to prepare to Foster. We set up a nursery with a crib and a twin bed and we painted and then in may we found out that we were not eligible. So in July he had a vasectomy reversed and we been trying for a baby. Shortly after I took apart the nursery and packed everything up and put it in the closet but the furniture is still in there. In May it will have been a year that we have a nursery for no reason. When does it become okay that I need to take that furniture down? It's such a painful thing you think about but I feel like after a year it's time to maybe put it in storage until it's truly needed. I guess I just needed to get the words out. Does that make it look like I'm giving up on a baby? Does keeping it up make us look desperate and weird? I wish there were answers for these struggles and they werent just painful.
