midwife vs. OB

Thoughts on using a midwife? For my first baby I saw an OB and still currently am, but it is really hard to make appointments with her, is always running behind, and cancels appointments FREQUENTLY due to having patients in labor that she needs to deliver. I just went in to get my IUD removed and they cancelled my appointment while I was in the room. I went to reschedule and they told me I couldn't get in until August. I told them I wanted to get it removed so I could start trying but couldn't get me in until June then. They said if I see a different doctor or widwife I will never be able to go back to that doctor ☹️ Being on an IUD I don't get my period and I'd like to get my cycle straightened and figure out my cycle asap.
