does raspberry tea really work?!?!

Does raspberry tea really work to help you go into labor, I know that's not what it's for, it's to soften your cervix but has any moms had it help them go into labor also?

I'm 3 days overdue and I've been drinking it since the end of my second trimester soooo

I'm up to 3 cups a day and no contractions/haven't dropped or anything. I am dilated to 1cm tho

Some people say it does, and some people say it doesn't. It's *supposed* to help tone your uterus to help bring strong effective contractions when the time comes. Some women drink it their entire pregnancy. I believe it's 3-4 cups a day, but that may be at the end of pregnancy? You'll have to look it up or ask your dr. But make sure it's red raspberry leaf tea, not just raspberry tea.

I've been drinking it three times a day since 35 weeks (dr approved), and I'm now 6 days overdue.  Hasn't brought on labour for me but am hoping it will help with the delivery (when he finally starts to come!).  All the med professionals I've seen have said there's nothing that can bring on labour without medical intervention unless your body is ready/close to labour 😢.
