Crazy mils?

Can you guys tell me about your mother in law? Mines very crazy and controlling and can't accept the fact her son is an adult with his own family now and he always backs her up. And she's always trying to break us up, and causing fights, just cause she doesn't want someone else to have her son. Everyone tells me that's how mother in law's are with their sons girlfriends/wives. So are yours even crazier? Or are yours good? I just wanna tell myself it could be worse so I'd love to hear stories.
