Boyfriend not letting me sleep over ?

My bf & I have been together for 3 years now. Since we go to different colleges, I usually only see him Thursday's-Sundays. Every Thursday I sleep over, & that's pretty much the one day I look forward to because despite whatever happened during the week I know it'll all be okay once I'm with him. However, he has been so stressed lately due to finals coming up. He hasn't been treating me as normal & has barely showed any love towards me this week. When we called last night I told him I actually missed him a lot & that I can't wait to come over, he said he does too & than told me he's busy. I continued sitting there on ft with him in silence until he finished. Then he told me he doesn't want me to come over because he wants to sleep peacefully & can't when I'm there. He told me he just wants to get a good night sleep since he's going to be up doing hw all weekend. I've been extremely emotional this past week (crying over stupid videos), & of course start crying. I told him I just needed him & I don't want to go through another day not being treated right. He told me he's sorry & went to bed. I know I'm seeing him tomorrow but I just needed him tonight. I feel like a horrible gf because I should be supporting him & being strong for him, but I just feel like I can't when I'm not being loved back. It sucks, but am I just over exaggerating??
