Assistance

I'm going to have to get government assistance to make it. I'm working a job that only makes $11.25/hr and I'm going to be a single mom of two. The father and I split up before but he still financially helped with bills and would watch Sully. He is not in the picture anymore at all. He will not be paying child support or helping in the slightest. I'm embarrassed and very sad to have to ask for help from the government but I'm lost at what to do. Any advice? Also, where do I begin with trying to get help? Thanks girls💕
