can you be in a relationship if the other person can't compromise?

Bf hates compromise. If he disagrees there's no way around it. No middle ground. It pains me. I feel like I'm willing to find middle ground if it means making us both happy. Not him. He thinks I just want him to agree. It sucks. Is there any way to show him relationships are compromise?

If he NEVER compromises then no. There are very few things that me and my boyfriend cant compromise on but if he would just never compromise with me i wouldn't be able to stay. Im a very headstrong person and outspoken so compromising in a relationship is a must for me
