Which birth control is best ?

I want to have sex but I want to take extra precautions and have the right birth control. I am considering getting the depo shot but I feel like it would worry me if I didn't have my period as sign that I'm not pregnant. What is the shot like for you ? Or is there anything you would recommend? I would definitely forget to take the pill 😭

I loved the shot while I was on it (2 years recently got off of it) the only thing that sucked was I never got a period while I was on it so when I was still sexually actively I constantly thought I was pregnant (even though I knew the shot made me miss my period it still freaked me out)😂 Other than that I loved it

I had the shot for 3 years and it made me gain a lot of weight but loved not having periods, I am now on the nexplanon implant and love it I get my period every month and no cramps

The shot is good when you on it and don't have periods, I was on it for a year and a half...... the only problem with it when you stop and want to get pregnant because it takes ages to get out of your system I've read for some women it's took over a year......... I also had the implant which stays in for 3 years, that was the best contraception I was on!
