false opk while taking clomid?

So I started progesterone last month to make me start my cycle (VERY irregular because I don't ovulate) and I took clomid 50 mg on cycle days 3-7. BD cycle days 13-18. I got peak result on opk at cycle day 17. But I had blood work done Friday and my progesterone was only 8 so I didn't ovulate after all. This month we're trying 100 mg clomid. Has anyone else had high and peak days on opk but didn't actually ovulate while taking clomid?
