What would you do if you were in this situation or were a bystander what would be your response?

So this guy in the picture was visiting his friend at a hotel in Texas when he started harassing some women. The women asked a nice man who was there with his family to step in and ask him to stop. The man did and that's when this guy started yelling obscenities and racial slurs at the man which was all caught on tape as the guy literally yelled "TRUMP WILL STOP YOU." Because I'm assuming the guy thought the man and his family were Muslim. So what would you do in this situation? If you were the man being yelled at or a bystander witnessing this?

I would have gone up to those women and sat next to them while calling the police.

I'd be pissed & probably intervene. I will be damned if these idiots ruin the island for people. A lot of diverse people go here and we don't need those kinda people there. 🙄 But also good news! He was arrested :-)

As someone who is shy and small I've given a lot of thought to how I would handle situations like this. I've come to the conclusion that I would ignore the aggressor and stand on solidarity with the person being harassed. I would stand next to them, try to get them out of the situation, ask if they were okay and what I could do, and stay with them and talk to them until I knew they were safe. I would only contact the authorities with their okay.

He didn't just assume they were Muslim, he assumed they were terrorists. 
I've noticed that it can be safer to avoid confronting the aggressor and instead try to remove the victims from the situation calmly. I'd like to think I'd sit down and talk to them, while completely ignoring the guy then get them to go someplace else while also calling the police and/or recording the entire thing.
But knowing me there is a chance I'd get in his face and start yelling at him to shut it and leave them alone. 😬 If anyone needs to be stopped it's people like him! He's spreading the hate and violence, not them. If things got physical I'd probably be screwed, but it'd be worth it if it helped them.

I saw that on Facebook and shared and asked my friends to also share. Alcohol or not, this is a disgusting behavior and people who have created the the atmosphere to allow this to happen genuinely need to know what they have done. This is not " get over it, respect him now, move on" kind of thing. It's freaking real😡😡😡😡
