endometriosis.
So I've always had really heavy periods and bad cramps. I've had two kids, I'm on the pill and I do my yearly physicals. My periods keep getting heavier and heavier, my cramping keeps getting worse to where I cramp two to three weeks out of the month and my lower bag always hurts. I am a little overweight but even my dr says that she doesn't think it's my weight causing problems. I've had blood work to check my thyroid and everything and it all is normal, I had an abdominal ultrasound and everything looked normal there too. I go in Monday for a laparoscopy. I'm a little nervous, not about the surgery really just about what they'll find. My mother and grandmother had endometriosis and both have had hysterectomies. Ovarian cancer and things like that also run in my family. I'm only 22 so I should be healthy and not having issues. I want to have another baby still and I'm afraid of what may be found or what may happen. Have any of you ladies been through any of this?
