when did you tell family?

Ok ladies, I'm struggling a bit. I found out I was pregnant the other day using a frer, I'm 4 weeks today. However, I've not confirmed this with a dr, just with about 10 tests over the last few days lol. My struggle is that I am literally dying to tell my family and this will be the only day we're all together for a while. So do I tell them now, before it's professionally confirmed? Or do I wait? It is killing me to not talk to my mom or sister about all of this. But I don't want to tell people too early. Not for fear of something going wrong. More a fear of being annoying. When did you guys tell?

I told closest family and friends, as I needed them - and only ppl I was sure would have a positive response up until 12 weeks when I told anyone left in that 'closest friend' category in personal messages. Then made a public announcement at 13 weeks on FB. I partially waited till I knew miscarriage was less likely but also because I wanted to keep it special and private so I could remain calm and focus on myself. 
I say do what feels right for you. There's no reason to wait to tell ppl like your mother and sister. Their support could be extremely helpful.

We told our parents last night before Mother's Day. We are 7 weeks 3 days.

Pregnancy tests are so accurate these days that all the doctor is going to do is ask you to pee on a similar stick! In the U.K. The doctors don't even make you test if you've had a positive

I went through the same thing. I told them at six weeks but only because that's when I saw them in person. I live out of state and I didn't want to do it over the phone. We all know the risk in an early pregnancy but sharing took some of the anxiety away.
