I've stopped my addiction.

I'd like to share something personal and rather important. So here goes... I have been on the prescription painkiller codeine for 5 years now, and back last year it came to a point where I developed an addiction to it. My mental health deteriated and I became dependent on the drug. This week I have began replacement therapy and started the journey to being clean of it, which I am so scared, but excited to complete, so I can be free. I want to raise awareness of how addictive opiate based drugs like codeine, tramadol and morphine can be when you have been taking it for so long.
