husband and bad driving 😡
I just need to rant. Hopefully I'm not the only girl here with a husband who sucks at going the speed limit. Within the past 2 years, my husband has gone to court 3 times due to speeding tickets. After a lot of money in fines, he got his license down to 6 points, still not good! Yesterday we found out his license was suspended from missing a month of the payments, so we paid the $25 reinstatement free the website said would reinstate it, it said it would taken 24 hours. Well, it's past that and it is still suspended. Yay us! I can't drive.
He had an interview today with an AMAZING job. The pay is great, benefits are great, they loved him. They said they definitely wanted him, all they needed was him to pass a background check. We thought the license would be valid since it was over 24 hours and it wasn't. So needless to say, they haven't called.
I've been racking my brain trying to figure out a way for him to get this job. Tomorrow we are going to the courthouse and paying his fine in full, hoping that they will not require him to go back to court in order to get it back. If that goes well, I guess he will have to call and hope and pray they will pull another background check to ensure his license is valid again. And pray that it's not too late and they don't hire someone else.
This job could mean everything to us. But, we're still young and to the company, he's still a nobody so chances are his driving blew that.
I just needed to rant. I wanted to yell at him for being an idiot and getting all these tickets but I figured I'd rant instead. He always feels horrible.
It's law in Ohio that you go back to court so I'm assuming they can't and won't allow us to pay it now and he will have to go to court. Which means 100% they will not hire him. This is absolutely horrible.
He hasn't gotten a speeding ticket in months. (The last one wasn't his fault) I gave birth in the car, baby passed away and I was bleeding out, he didn't want to stop and wait for an ambulance, as they said they had to send the neighboring town out because they had none available, the officer was an ass and STILL gave him one.) Before that, we had all the fines paid off
