35 weeks- some days at work I help front desk. who else has intense back pain??

Hello! I'm a sonographer and when I'm working that things are great.. but when I help
Front desk and in my seat after 6 hours (besides getting up for bathroom etc) it's almost painfully unbearable on my back and I can't get comfortable. Plus an hour drive home and here makes it 10-12 hours total in a day. Is anyone else suffrrening like this? What do you do? I'm not a complainer and active in general but whoa..

I feel you. I do 10 hour days with 1.25 hour commute both to and from. My back has been killing​ since 20 weeks. I've requested a different chair and thanks to government bureaucracy, i probably won't get one until after I'm long on maternity leave. Gotta love the efficiency of the government. What's worse is that the pain is bad at night too when I try to sleep.

I've found sleeping in a recliner helps along with short walks at work when I can. Then when I get home, hubby rubs my lower back with pressure starting from my lower back and pushing downward towards my butt. It feels so much better after that.

Let me know if you find anything else that helps as I'm all ears for new ideas.
