WTH IS GOING ON IN THERE?!

30w exactly and had my appointment today. Perfect appointment. Strong heartbeat, felt great, cervix is closed but has shortened by half. Since about 3:30pm my stomach has been tight, she's been moving like crazy off and on and I can't seem to catch my breath to save my life. I'm constantly deep breathing every now and again because I feel like I'm not get enough air.

I've been drinking water like I've been stranded in the desert.

I'm having BH (which are my normal routine 😑)

Is this normal? I'd hate to travel to l&d which is a 30min drive.

I just want some relief

I'm 32 weeks and I've felt this way since 29-30 weeks. The shortness of breath used to be when I was laying on my back but now it's happening even sitting or standing. It's just the lessening of space so baby is invading your diaphragm. It helps to stop thinking about it and you can breathe again. At least that's how it is for me, I try to think of other things. I'm also having Braxton Hicks every day maybe three times a day. It doesn't hurt but it's so uncomfortable. Hang in there!

I am 29 weeks & was just released from the hospital because I went in for the same thing. They were monitoring my stomach to see if I was going into premature labor but everything was great . My baby girl is feet down rather than head down so the pressure from her kicking caused me to have sharp, period like cramps. The doctor said as it is getting hotter out we should be doubling our water in take since we need to keep ourselves and our babies hydrated. I hope this helped !
