does anyone know if this brand: chicco trio travel system(picture below) is for rear facing in the car and if it just latches inside the car?

This is the travel system I will be getting! I have three people in my life with babies right now, one with the chicco bravo trio, one with britax b-agile, and one with grace click connect. So I got to hear what they did and didn't like and try them all out myself and decided on the chicco for safety reasons and for it's easy to manuever, comfort for baby to toddler, and plenty of space for diaper bag underneath carriage

I have this system and love it. Yes it will have infant carrier rear facing and found it very easy to use. Also was rated one of the safest.

Yes it's for rear facing. The base (the part attached to the car seat at the bottom in the photo) hooks or buckles into the car and then you set the car seat on top of that (it will make a clicking noise when it's locked in place)

Yup, that's what we have but we got the Urban stroller and the Keyfit 30 zip carseat. The stroller is awesome since it has a bassinet that can be removed and the car seat latched in. I love the bassinet setting and will use that the majority of the time.
