Spotting and sex

Hi girls! I know spotting is normal after the IUD is inserted, and I have only have mine for like 2 weeks and I am going crazy. My gyn says that if the spotting doesn't stop after 2 months I'll get a pill or somthing to make it stop. But how long did u guys spott after you got the IUD?

And one more question when I am first posting something here, do you have sex with the spotting? I'm getting sexual frustrated of this 🙈
