Stay at home dad?

My hubby is about to become a full time stay at home dad. Any ladies out there also have this situation that can advice on how to make the transition easy for him? He's totally happy to do and all but I'm sure it's hard for a guy to give up his career with all the stereotyping and I also don't want him feeling like he can't spend money on himself even though I'm the one making it.. I see it as our money.
