Short Lutheal Phase and Successful pregnancy?

Has anyone had a short lutheal phase and had a successfull pregnancy? I recently starting charting my temps and taking opks and I realized  that I ovulate only 8 or 9 days before my periods are due.  I would like to know if anyone here has the same issue and was able to get pregnant naturally,  or if  your  doctors prescribed you anything that made the lutheal phase longer?

I usually ovulate around day 17-18 of my 29 day cycle so about 11 day luteal phase. I was able to conceive in December.  Unfortunately I had a miscarriage at 6 1/2 weeks due to low progesterone.  Which from what I have read can be one of the reasons of short luteal phase.  I have since then started using progressance plus essential oil, it is suppose to help regulate your hormones and give you extra progesterone. I have only been on it for a little over a week.  Hoping it will help me ovulate sooner and boost my progesterone to sustain a pregnancy. Good luck to you!

I ovulate ten days before my af and last Tuesday I found out I was pregnant. I haven't tried anything different though. It helped that I was tracking things so knew when I was ovulating as I have a long, irregular cycle too. Gone luck to you

I have this concern too -- think my luteal phase is ~11 days. At what point did you get progesterone levels tested? We are only a few months in TTC but of course I am letting every little thing stress me out.

My cycles are around 25 days long and I am ovulating around day 15 or 16 ( 9 days lutheal phase). My periods are never late and last month it was late for 3 days and it came stronger than usual. I also got a very  light faint positive one day before my period came, so I believe ( as I have read online) I may have had a chemical pregnancy which I miscarried due to low levels of progesterone. I have mentioned this to my obgyn but she did not pay attention to what I said and told me 9 days were ok for a lutheal phase and that I should not worry. I guess it is time to find a new doctor...
