rant 😩

My dog is a little rambunctious, she's always wide open running around the house and with me being due in 3 months I've been desperately trying to teach her to be more calm indoors. I don't want her to keep the baby awake, be too rough with her, or anything like that. We're staying in someone else's house for a month or two while ours is finishing getting ready, and they know how frustrated I am trying to teach her to be calm indoors, but they obviously don't care because they completely ruin anything I've worked with her on, by chasing her around indoors and playing rough with her 🙄 so then for the next day or so it's like I have to start all over again, she's forgotten how to act. When I tell them I'd appreciate it if they didn't they just say "oh she's fine" and ignore me 😩 I'm so frustrated, I'm trying to make this a smooth transition for the dog, the last thing I want to do is to have to rehome her! But I'm worried I'll get fed up with her behavior after the baby gets here and will have to, or she'll be too rough with her. I hate staying with other people so much.
